Thermal decomposition reaction kinetics and storage life prediction of polyacrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive

چکیده

Abstract The thermal decomposition behavior of polyacrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) at heating rates 4, 6, 8, and 10 K·min ?1 was measured by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). kinetic parameters for reaction the were obtained from TG profile differential method integral (Kissinger, general integral, MacCallum–Tanner, Šatava–Šesták, Agrawal, Flynn–Wall–Ozawa), results show that main stage starts 301°C its activation energy is 142.68 kJ·mol , pre exponential factor 9.55 mechanism obeys Avrami–Erofeev equation can be expressed as: d ? /d T = (10 / ? )[(1 ? )/2][?ln(1 )] exp(?1.7161 × 4 ). storage life PSA 25°C predicted to about 19 years isoconversional method.
